The American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences (ASBBS) was founded in 1993 as an interdisciplinary professional organization. The mission of ASBBS is to provide a forum for exchange of ideas among faculty members in Business and Behavioral science disciplines. Our meetings are held in a collegial environment with ample opportunities for networking during social events and the annual banquets.

In addition to publishing the refereed Proceedings of the Conference, ASBBS publishes the following refereed journals which are indexed in Cabell’s Directory, Proquest and other indices:

Journal of Business and Educational Leadership

The annual National Conferences of ASBBS are usually held in in the month of March. The once-a year conference emphasizes quality of research, growth of younger faculty members and faculty-sponsored student student research. The 33rd annual conference will be in held in New Orleans during March 13-15, 2026. The ASBBS also organizes International Conferences in the summer.
